Hi Hannah.
Yes we are open to everyone, and we do have one or two younger members there most weeks from about 7.30pm on Wednesdays. There is a league match in our usual quiet room tomorrow, but there will still be players there for friendly games as well, either there or in the bar area, so please call in and see us.

Hi Mike.
Thanks for your message. The easiest thing to do is pop along on a Wednesday evening to our venue at Cromwell’s Tap house and have a chat and meet up with some of the regulars and see if over the board chess is for you. We are there from 7.30pm and have players who are relativley new to chess as well as those who’ve been playing a while, so there will be some people playing competetive games and others playing friendlies and you’ll get a good idea of what the club is about.
