As a (potentially important) note, in the event of a tie for first, there won’t be any tie-break systems used. The two players in question would play another game under normal rules with a toss for colours. In the event of that match being drawn, then two 10-minute games, each player being White in one, would be played. If that finished 1-1, then an Armageddon match would be played, with a coin toss again used to determine the winner.

In the event of a tie between three or more players, then a round-robin system of 10 minute games will be used to determine the eventual winner, with an Armageddon match used if two players finished on a level score at the top of the pool.

Hope that avoids any accusations of cheating later on, Lockett!
