Club Championship
The Shrewsbury Chess Club Championship is an internal, Swiss style competition with five rounds, played over the course of the year.
The draw for round 2 has been made and pairings appear below.
All games should preferably be played over the board with a time control of 1 hour 25 minutes plus 10 second increment and recorded in the normal way. However, games can be played on the LiChess website with a time control of 45 minutes plus a 15 second increment per move at players request.
Players with white should initiate the date and time for the challenge and, as in previous years, a half point incentive will be awarded for completing the game within the scheduled time slot.
